Dream Pavillion

Public Competition - Independent designer

The Dream Pavilion was a competition to design a pavilion inspired by the concept of a dream. A metaphor for the unconscious mind, the forest is home to our fantasies, our fears and symbolizes a frontier of the unknown. A visitor is encouraged to explore. The space is divided by arrangements of vertical linear elements. The use of color reinforces the volumes of space as individual experiences within a total harmony of physical forms. They range in value from the most dense and least permeable frequencies to larger, more expansive forms created by lower occurring frequencies.
