Senses Suit

Pratt Institute - Student

We live in an visually over stimulated world where we rely on our vision as our main sense. Our other senses are used to verify our vision particularly the sense of touch. By switching the user's primary sense from vision to touch, they can then understand their environment without the chaotic nature of vision and focus on the information provided through tactility. The user moves the membrane and the membrane moves the user. the membrane leads the user through their sense of touch on key joints of the body. Through confining the body we create a desire in the user to explore their environment.
